How to Use a Spell Oil: The Basics

1. Anointing Your Body

Apply a small amount of oil to pulse points: the wrists, the base of the throat, and behind the ears. As you do this, hold your intention clearly in mind. Do not rush. The application is part of the ritual, not a prelude to it. For love oils like Mohini, you may also apply to the heart centre (sternum) and the inside of the elbows.

Do a patch test before first use, especially if your skin is sensitive. Apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours to check for any reaction.

2. Anointing a Candle

Choose a candle in a colour aligned with your intention. Red or pink for love and attraction. Green or gold for abundance. Black or white for protection and clarity. Apply a small amount of oil to the candle, working from the middle outward toward both ends (drawing intention toward you). Light the candle with a clear verbal or mental statement of your intention. Let it burn safely.

3. Anointing an Intention Paper
